Indie Reno Boutique Moves into Wildflower Village With Local Handmade Artisan Treasures
Reno, NV – There’s a new co-op in town. Indie Reno Boutique, and artists co-op-slash-boutique-art gallery recently opened in a gallery at the Wildflower Village complex on Fourth Street. The space, which used to offer mostly paintings and sculpture, now has themed rooms — the gallery is housed in a former motel space, so each boutique “room” used to be an individual hotel room.
And, in the style of a co-op, the artists, who sell their wares by consignment at the boutique, must volunteer to work there a certain number of hours each week.
“It is a collaborative effort,” said Shelly Jackson, Indie Reno owner.
