Jedlinski Helps Make a Dream Come True for Two Children in Need

Bearing gift packages and colorful balloons, Shea, 7 year old with Cerebral Palsy and Ron Jedlinski, Founder of Roman, Inc. along with his wife Diane, presented Ava and Danielle, 5 year old best friends and spina bifida patients at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital with a Dream Come True. Both girls were thrilled to learn they will be visiting Orlando, Florida and the theme parks together with their families in August of this year.

“These children work so hard in combating their afflictions and they do it with determination and good spirit,” said Jedlinski. “They are thrilled with the idea of going to the Sunshine Village and seeing all the attractions, but they are such giving and caring kids, that their biggest thrill is that their entire family will be going with them.” Sunshine has done this work for years and fulfilled wishes for thousands of kids. Jedlinski is comforted by the fact that every dollar given to this foundation funds the filling of dreams for children like this, with only a tiny percent used for overhead. “Bill and Kate Sample and all the volunteers that help these children are great humanitarians,” added Jedlinski.

Ron Jedlinski is a long time friend and former board member of the Sunshine Foundation, in which he and his wife Diane continue to be actively involved. Last year they both presented a similar dream package to a boy with acute leukemia.
