The Jura IMPRESSA J9 One Touch TFT in Chrome has won the Good Design™ Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, the only independent museum of architecture and design in the United States. One of the most highly recognized programs for design excellence worldwide, the Good Design Awards honors the best in form, function and aesthetic.
The Jura IMPRESSA J9 One Touch TFT in Chrome won based on its cutting-edge design, concept, materials, construction, utility, energy efficiency and sensitivity to the environment. An independent panel of design professionals and leading industry specialists reviewed submissions from over 30 countries for the Good Design Awards.
The Jura IMPRESSA J9 One Touch TFT stands out for its state-of-the-art 3½-inch TFT Color Display, which is programmed with text and images to easily guide the user through the menus and programming. The rotary dial makes it easy to choose the specialty coffee desired. Once the chosen beverage is selected, simply press the button and the Jura performs, brewing to perfection cup by cup. Crema coffee, espresso, latte, cappuccino, latte macchiato and more are brewed with a touch of a button, without moving the cup.
Featuring a stylish chrome color, the IMPRESSA J9 One Touch TFT includes Jura’s revolutionary fine foam technology to produce fine, feather-light foam for specialty coffee beverages from cappuccino to frothy hot chocolate.
A height-adjustable cappuccino spout and a height- and width-adjustable coffee spout give the user the versatility to brew everything from single shots to a tall latte macchiato. A 20-ounce stainless steel vacuum milk container keeps milk cold and ready to froth or steam on demand for up to eight hours.
The Jura IMPRESSA J9 One Touch TFT also won “Best in Category – Countertop Cooking & Beverage Appliances” in the prestigious 2012 Housewares Design Awards and the internationally renowned 2011 red dot design award.
