Sweet, creamy — well, chocolaty — confections created by Nancy Katz Bromley who realized her dream of owning her own chocolate shop by opening The Chocolate Gift in Clinton.

“I had been making chocolate for eight years, first in Massachusetts and then in Connecticut in residential and commercial kitchens, and business was through word of mouth, but I always wanted to do retail.”

She discovered a beautiful house on the Boston Post Road in Clinton, and a space inside that was just perfect to create and display her artisan chocolates. After completely gutting the inside of what once was the garage of the house, The Chocolate Gift was born. Bromley specializes in creating custom chocolates for any occasion and unique novelty items, such as chocolate tennis rackets and tic tac toe boards for instance. For the shopaholic who is also a chocolaholic there is a credit card, shopping bag, high heels and a gift box all made of solid chocolate.
