Artist Kate McRostie to Unveil Over 50 New Paintings at Surtex

Wilmington, NC – Kate McRostie DesignWorks, Inc. announced today that Kate McRostie will introduce over 50 new designs for license at Surtex 2007, May 20-22nd, Hall 1E booth 2240, in New York City. McRostie, whose designs are featured on products by over 30 manufacturers and offered at major retailers, is seeking licensees for scrapbooking and giftwrap, as well as many other product categories including rugs, furniture, and fabrics.

McRostie, known for her expressive brushstrokes, prolific ability, and broad appeal, will launch several new Holiday collections including her fresh, sophisticated take on “The Twelve Days of Christmas” and “Woodland Holiday” featuring traditional woodland designs in trend forward colors. Many new everyday designs and patterns will also be on display.

“Since moving into my new studio last October, I have hardly been able to put my paintbrush down!” said McRostie, “The effects of being in my new creative space, along with the addition of two administrative and graphic staff members, has really allowed me to focus more on my painting. I’m very excited to show my new collections at Surtex and inspire current and new licensees.”
