Carbondale, PA – For many years, Kati Granville and her mother, Kathy Kaminsky, talked about forming a business of their own. And that dream has now been realized with the opening of Kati’s, a new shop located at 29 Salem Avenue.

“My mom and I always wanted to do something together,” Kati explained, “so it’s really exciting now that it’s actually happening.”

She said the business was being run out of her home on Weir Court for about six months. But all that began to change in August when she rented a stand at the Greater Carbondale Ethnic Festival and sold her candied creations over the four nights of activities.
