KidsWorld Debuts Leading Manufacturers During Grand Opening Celebration; Dallas Market Center to Open an Entire Floor of Children’s Products

Dallas, TX – – Dallas Market Center, the world’s largest wholesale resource, today announced its grand opening celebration plans for KidsWorld, a comprehensive 200,000-square-foot marketplace debuting January 16, 2008 on the 8th floor of the World Trade Center. KidsWorld will feature leading manufacturers of gifts, home decor, toys, furniture and related merchandise to complement the children’s apparel and accessories showrooms already in place. The combined resources will create a complete floor devoted to products for infants, children, tweens and expectant mothers.

Dallas Market Center will invite buyers and exhibitors out to the atrium of the World Trade Center on Friday, January 18 at 9 a.m. for a KidsWorld opening celebration featuring food, prizes and an attempt to break a world record. It’s a surprise, but sure to be fun!

Complimentary continental breakfast will be served on the KidsWorld atrium Wednesday, January 16 – Saturday, January 19 at 9 a.m. Also on the KidsWorld atrium, a mid-morning snack with fresh fruit and juice on Wednesday at 11 a.m.; Rice Krispy treats on Thursday at 2 p.m.; a special afternoon treat of Razzles, Pop Rocks and Lemonheads on Friday at 4 p.m.; and mimosas on Sunday at 11 a.m. KidsWorld exhibitors will also offer great prize giveaways, including cash and airline tickets.

KidsWorld will welcome a wide-range of new lines and companies to Dallas Market Center.

KidsWorld offers flexible exhibit space including permanent showrooms, temporary booths and the KidsWorld Studio shared showroom. Many of the showrooms and the KidsWorld Studio will be open daily in addition to the four Total Home & Gift Markets (January, March, June and September) and five Apparel Markets (January, March, June, August and October).
