Liz’s Interiors Open Almost Four DecadesBy Chris BartlettOAOA.com

Odessa, TX – Liz Midgley opened Liz’s Linens on West County Road in 1977, and since then, the business has become somewhat of a family affair.

Midgley said she had worked at a bed and bath store prior to opening her business and at the age of 50 she made the decision to open a business of her own.

“It was a great location. We had very loyal customers on the west side and the east side that would make the drive over,” Midgley said.

Liz’s Interiors offers a variety of home décor items, throw pillows, crystal and china. Amy Mitis, Midgley’s daughter, said they work on a lot of bridal registries and set up physical displays for bridal showers which she feels is more of an “old-school” service.
