Mark Goff Licenses Pop-Up, Light-Up Cards To Marian Health Greeting Cards

STUDIO CITY, CA. – Paper-engineering wizard, Mark Goff, who co-owns GOFFENGEL WORKSHOP with his partner Philip Engel, has signed a licensing agreement with greeting card industry icon, Marian Heath Greetings. GOFFENGEL WORKSHOP, a 4-year old company that continues to gain recognition throughout the country, is known for its amazing pop-up photo albums for various occasions (Wedding, New Baby, Christmas, Little Boy and Little Girl), and pop-up greeting cards, thank-you’s and specialty invitations.

Under the agreement made at the end of last year, Marion Heath Greetings will produce Goff’s pop-up and light-up seasonal greeting cards under its own brand, taking these designs to their specialty market customers. GOFFENGEL WORKSHOP will continue to retain rights to distribute these same cards to their own customer base.

“We are delighted with the outcome of this agreement,” explains Kim Lehrman, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Marian Heath Greetings. “These innovative, pop-up and lighted cards, especially for Halloween, Christmas and other seasonal occasions, are an attractive addition to our already popular lines. Our specialty market is keen on assortments, using hanging pockets in a ‘volume buy’ position. Response has been so positive even in the few short weeks of 2008!”

Marian Heath Greeting Cards is a privately held greeting card company located in Wareham, Massachusetts. Thousands of independent retailers, specialty and regional chains throughout North American have chosen Marian Heath as their stationery category management partner. In business for over 65 years, Marian Heath provides unique solutions to retailers through superior service, distinctive product, and exceptional value for consumers. The company actively licenses artwork from a broad range of today’s top creative talent.

Founded in 2005 by Mark Goff and Phillip Engel, GOFFENGEL WORKSHOP “popped” from a passion for paper engineering. For more than 20 years, Mark, an Oregon-born and raised artist had been a designer, pattern maker and manager in the costuming industry, where his ingenuity and originality created spectacular one-of-a-kind couture. His study and research into the paper engineering arena fueled the development of his first Pop-Up Wedding Album in 2006, which was a huge success, and the business has flourished into several stationery categories, including Baby, Christmas, and general stationery. A wealth of new pop-up product is on schedule for future introductions. For more information, please visit goffengel.com.
