Melrose International appoints new president
Melrose International promoted of Karl Venvertloh to president, effective June 26. This marks a significant milestone in the continued growth and evolution of Melrose International, according to the company.
Richard A. Mettemeyer, who has held the dual roles of president and CEO since 2007, announced his resignation from the position of president. Mettemeyer will continue to serve as CEO.
“I cannot think of anyone more qualified and deserving of this position than Karl,” Mettemeyer said. “Karl’s leadership throughout the years has in many ways contributed to Melrose’s success, and his dedication and commitment to Melrose are second to none.”
According to the company, Venvertloh brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to his new role. Starting his career at Melrose International at the age of 14, Venvertloh has dedicated his entire professional life to the company, rising through the ranks to take on various leadership roles. Over the past five years, Venvertloh and Mettemeyer have worked side by side on practically every project, including banking and operations.
Venvertloh’s journey with Melrose International shows his dedication and hard work, the company said. He was one of the first employees hired at Melrose. Over the years, Melrose said he has played a crucial role in the company’s success, eventually managing the entire operation.
