Midwest Announces Call for Entries in “Show Us Your Sparkle” Display and Events Contest

Cannon Falls, MN – Midwest, leading designer of the Seasons of Cannon Falls brand of holiday and seasonal home accents and premium Colonial Candle brand of candles, announces a call for entries in its first annual “Show Us Your Sparkle” in-store display and events contest for independent retailers. Categories include:

• 2007 Retail Display of Colonial Candle Product
• 2007 Best Retail Display of Seasons of Cannon Falls Product
• 2007 Best In-Store Special Event Colonial Candle and/or Seasons of Cannon Falls Product

“Midwest is sponsoring the 2007 ‘Show Us Your Sparkle’ contest to help celebrate, showcase and share the creative display and event ideas that are helping to drive independent retail business,” says Midwest President Frederic Contino.

Submissions should be limited to two photos (three photos if entering the Event category), 150-word description and if possible, impact in terms of increased traffic and sales. Criteria for judging include creativity and impact. Prizes include $2,500 in Midwest product credits for first place in each category; $1,000 in Midwest product credits for second place; and $500 in product credits for third place in each category.

The deadline for “Show Us Your Sparkle” contest entries is Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007. All digital photo entries and descriptions should be emailed to your local Midwest account manager. To find your local Midwest account manager, please call 800-776-2075 and ask for customer service.
