Triangular Shaped Cards – Not for Squares; Nacho Loco Card Game Wins The National Parenting Center 2007 Seal of Approval

Buffalo, NY – The National Parenting Center has awarded Buffalo Games the 2007 Seal of Approval for Nacho Loco, an addictive new card game featuring unique triangular shaped cards.

“We’ve tested this game across several demographics: family, friends, young and old, everybody loves this game. It’s fun, it’s fast, it’s crazy, it’s colorful, it’s Nacho Loco” said Mark Predko, Director of Marketing for Buffalo Games.

The object of the game is to acquire points by getting rid of all your cards while blocking opponents from doing the same. Opponents place three-sided triangular cards on the table or in the “playfield” by matching colors. This creates dazzling but tactical geometric patterns and shapes. Along the way, action cards including “Skip Next”, “Opponent Draws Three”, and “Go Again” together with blocking “Close-out” cards keep the action fast paced and intuitive to play. Nacho Loco can be played by 2-6 players and is recommended for children 8 years and up.

“We are very proud to receive the 2007 Seal of Approval from The National Parenting Center,” said Paul Dedrick, president of Buffalo Games. “Our mission with every game is to make life more fun and rewarding for the entire family. This type of recognition confirms our commitment and exemplifies the family-play characteristics we so highly value,” he added.

The National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval program, created in 1990, identifies products and services being marketed to the parent/child audience. The consumer oriented testing process solicits evaluations from parents and their children. The Seal of Approval award signifies to other parents that their peers have acknowledged a product’s quality and desirability based on a wide variety of determining factors. It is the sole intention of The National Parenting Center to advise, support and guide parents with sound, responsible advice. Nacho Loco is joined by two additional new card games introduced by BuffaloGames in 2007, Imaginiff and Monster Maker Card Game .

Buffalo Games is a leading manufacturer and producer of over 200 award-winning board games, jigsaw puzzles, card games and accessories. Founded in 1986, the company’s headquarters and facilities are located in Buffalo, New York.
