Natick’s Five Crows to Celebrate 10th Anniversary
Natick, MA – Once upon a time (10 years ago, in fact), three magpies decided to open a shop on Main Street. After a while, they needed to expand, so they flew over to a space on Court Street, and invited others to join them. Soon the magpies became Five Crows, a gift shop that now has the wares of 145 local artists filling the walls and cases.
“There are very few venues for artists to sell their wares … a lot fewer now than 10 years ago,” said Ginger McEachern, an artist/owner along with Gianna Bird and Paula Williams Kochanek.
There were two other “Crows” in the early years, Marina Janus and Socie Sagherian, but it’s been McEachern, Bird and Kochanek for seven years now.
