Neenah to Gain Downtown Artisan BoutiqueBy Maureen WallenfangPostCrescent.com

Neenah, WI – One of the newest boutiques coming to downtown Neenah, The Fine Fox, will showcase local artisans who make everything from quilts to organic lip gloss. It will open May 15 at 214 W. Wisconsin Ave., the former French Flea spot.

It’s called an “artisan collective” and is run somewhat like a co-op, with artists chipping in fees and volunteering time. It’s managed by the Community Initiative for Fox Cities Artisans, a new local nonprofit arts and education organization, and sponsored by Arts Wisconsin, a nonprofit statewide arts advocacy group.

So far, 12 people have signed up to contribute original works to the boutique’s walls and shelves.
