New Abingdon Business Features Food, Gifts and Local Artwork
Abingdon, VA – Robin Bundy Ferrell, like many of her friends, was tired of driving to another city to visit stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s to get the specialty grocery items she wanted.
“We found ourselves, anytime we went out of town, going to [one of those stores] to get things you couldn’t find in our grocery stores,” she said. “I felt like there was really a need.”
And that’s how Necessities, a shop specializing in food, gifts and local art, was born.
