New Gift Shop to Showcase the Work of Local Artisans to Open Tuesday
Carlisle, PA – A new business is coming to Carlisle that will showcase the artwork and craftsmanship of local residents.
Gerald and Martha Eby own a building on High Street in Carlisle that once housed an auto parts store. They now lease the building out to several tenants and several of the tenants at the building have artistic-related businesses. Those tenants include LeTort Glass, Photographer Tony Zizzi and Metal Expressions. Instead of searching for a new client, the Ebys thought about adding more artwork and craftsmanship to the complex. On Tuesday the Ebys will open East Street Artisans at 405 N. East St.
“We had a space come available at the front of the building,” Martha Eby said. “Instead of going out and trying to find another business to come in, we thought we would give it a try.”
