New Shop on Walking Mall Includes Fair-Trade Items Handmade by Women in Kyrgyzstan
Helena, MT – A new store is bringing woolen felt work from Kyrgyzstan to shoppers on the Downtown Walking Mall.
According to owner Paula Halverson, it may be one of the only places in the country to purchase the handmade rugs, accessories and crafts.
The store is named for Aizada Sopueva, a Kyrgyz woman who partners with Halverson to manage the business in Kyrgyzstan.
