New Abbey Press Line Highlights Christmas as a “Journey”
The new “Christmas Is a Journey” collection from Abbey Press leads the way to a faith-filled celebration of the season.
The line, which debuts June 30, 2012, includes a ceramic Advent candleholder ($34 SRP), pie plate ($20 ), trivet ($14), mug ($12), ornament ($11) and a boxed set of 20 silver-foil, embossed Christmas cards ($13.99). The ceramic giftware items feature raised decorative holly flourishes in elegant tones of ivory, gold and aqua. The artistic focal point of each piece is a beautifully rendered, stylized Star of Christmas.
The message of Christmas as a journey resonates well with Abbey Press customers, according to Lisa O. Engelhardt, editorial director for Abbey Press. Over the years, cards and gift products using this motif have garnered robust sales for the company.
