New Greeting Card Line, Read Between The Lines, Officially Launches
Read Between The Lines, a new greeting card line created by Dallas businesswoman Melinda Jones, will officially launch on February 7 with a party at Neighborhood, a modern home furnishings and gift boutique located in the Bishop Arts District. In the meantime, paper lovers can now find the witty cards at Neighborhood and online atReadBetweentheLines.com.
The cards feature original tongue-in-cheek phrases with space between each line for a personal note, prompting the card recipient to “read between the lines.” Valentine’s Day notes include phrases such as, “Why Aren’t You Mine,” “Let Me Woo You” and “You Are My Bucket List.” In addition to Valentine’s Day and Holiday messages, Jones’ general occasion greeting card line features seven playful themes: Baby & Bridal, Birthday, Get Well, Good Luck | Congrats | Bon Voyage, Hello & Friendship, Love – Sweet & Salty, and Thank You. Each card and envelope is accompanied by a sticker to seal the finished product that reads, “That Is All.”
Read Between The Lines is made and manufactured in the United States. The cards are offset printed on 110 lb. paper made from 100 percent recycled cotton. Envelopes feature blind embossing and are made from 40 percent post-consumer waste (PCW).
“I wanted Read Between The Lines to help both men and women say what’s on their mind or in their heart in a way that’s memorable, meaningful and modern,” said Jones. “The design is clean-lined and gender-neutral, featuring sentiments that range from a little lively to a lot loving. The sender’s words very naturally become interwoven with the repeating short phrases of the card. RBTL™ is a cheeky-classy way to connect.”
The greeting card line is the first of several planned retail extensions from Jones’ company and blog, Super Much Love™. A passionate writer and entrepreneur, Jones honed her design skills remodeling premier Dallas properties. She also had a successful career in advertising and marketing prior to pursuing her passion for fine, fun paper products.
As a strong supporter of local businesses, Jones has worked almost exclusively with Dallas companies to create and manufacture Read Between The Lines. The cards can be purchased for $6.95 from select retail locations, including Neighborhood in Dallas, Texas, and online through the Read Between The Lines website. A portion of proceeds from each card benefits MANA Nutrition and Rolling Dog Farm, two charities about which Jones is passionate.
