Lansing, MI – Antlers and armoires, feathers and flowerpots, burlap totes and bark wastebaskets: Could one store have them all?

Bradly’s Home and Garden, which has its grand opening Saturday and Sunday, stocks such varied d’cor, in addition to furniture, garden supplies, lighting, other home accessories and reclaimed and salvaged items.

“I’m trying to offer unique but quality items to Lansing, things that no one else has in our area,” says Bradly Rakowski, the store’s owner. While the furniture and other retail items come from all over, Rakowski says that the natural accessories — which include wheat leaves, birch limbs, shed antlers, feathers, reeds and more — are all organically harvested from here in Lansing. The reclaimed items include all sorts of antique and salvaged furniture, choice finds and re-purposed objects, such as metal baskets formerly used in laboratories and decorative piano parts.
