New: ‘Luxury Scents’ section at Ambiente 2013

The leading world trade fair Ambiente will, in February, be showcasing the exclusive world of luxury fragrances. These are now included amongst the up-scale concepts and accessories for the home in the “Interiors & Decoration” section in Hall 9.0. Seven suppliers of niche perfumes from Germany, France, Great Britain and Italy will be inviting visitors to try out their exclusive perfumes, room fragrances, sprays and scented candles. Bahoma, Dr. Gritti, Linari, Lorenzo Villoresi, Parfums D’Orsay, Tiziana Terenzi, Torre of Tuscany and Villa Buti are all brands that will be representing the premium segment at Ambiente.

“The new area is extremely important to us. With it, we are giving buyers from the up-scale end of the interior furnishings market and retailers of exclusive perfumes the opportunity to extend their product ranges in the upper segment, without having to visit specialist trade fairs. It is equally of considerable interest for buyers working in the public and commercial domain as well as interior designers at the upper end of the hotel sector. For the suppliers themselves, Ambiente now makes it possible to reach whole new groups of customers,” says Sabine Scharrer, Director of Living at Ambiente. With its component product areas Dining, Living and Giving, Ambiente is a multi-sector show and, as such, offers cross-sector synergy effects and hence the basis for a highly effective and efficient trade-fair visit.

Alongside the exhibitors’ presentations, the new area also offers a champagne bar as somewhere to conduct successful negotiations at the same time as enjoying some of the good things in life. There is, moreover, a treat for the eyes in the exciting presentation created by designer Veit Streitenberger. The concept for the stand and its location in the entrance area of the hall suitably reflect the sophistication of the theme. James Bruce, Managing Director of Bahoma Ltd from London says: “I am delighted by the new concept for ‘Luxury Scents’ and am convinced that, in difficult economic times, it is particularly important to keep a few steps ahead. The ‘Luxury Scents’ concept is one such step. I can only assume that this area will grow and, as it develops, be of great relevance for a large international audience.”

Ambiente is the leading international trade fair for products for the table, kitchen, household, giving and decorating, as well as for home and furnishing accessories. For five days at the beginning of the business year, around 4,500 exhibitors occupying 27 exhibition halls show what consumers will be able to see in shops around the world in 2013.
