NY NOW summer market offers new features

Several new features will debut in the Tabletop + Gourmet Housewares section of the NY NOW summer market, August 11 to August 14, 2019, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York. Nearly 200 brands will be participating in Tabletop + Gourmet Housewares section, which highlights new products in drinkware, kitchenware, gourmet packaged foods, tabletop and table linens.

“We’re very excited about the incredible brands and new features on display in the Tabletop section this summer, especially the debut of the Epicurean Kitchen with a special live demonstration by world renowned chef Lidia Bastianich,” said Kevin O’Keefe, executive vice president, Emerald Expositions. “Just a few of the companies and brands joining us include: Alessi, ANNA by RabLabs, Arthur Court/Vagabond House, Beatriz Ball Collection, Kim Seybert, L’Objet, Michael Aram, Michael Wainwright, Pampa ay-Barbagallo, Rosanna, and Sugarfina.”

First-time exhibitors and emerging brands joining this section are: Buatti Italy, Chic Chill, Honey Blossom, JusTea, Made by Fressko, Owlstone Clayworks, Statesman Beverage Co., TU LAS, and TRE Olive. The Forty One Madison showroom will have a presence on the show floor for the first time; brands including Alessi, Haviland, L’Objet, Juliska, Match, Nambe, Rosenthal, Vietri and more will be on display.

New to Tabletop + Gourmet is First Taste, an area featuring new specialty gourmet packaged food companies. First Taste made its debut at the NY NOW Winter market and is expanding for summer. It will feature specialty gourmet packaged food companies that are new to the event. Also new is the Epicurean Kitchen, a new live demonstration stage where chefs will prepare dishes and share their inspiration on the show floor. Lidia Bastianich, Emmy award-winning television host, best-selling cookbook author and restaurateur is the featured chef Tuesday, August 13, at 2:30 p.m.

The NY NOW summer market is co-located with JA New York (JA) and the National Stationery Show (NSS) and one badge provides access to all three show. The HANDMADE Collection and the NSS open Saturday, August 10. The Home and full Lifestyle collections along with JA open on Sunday, August. 11. For more information, visit www.nynow.com.
