NY NOW winter 2019 market to welcome National Stationery Show, Surtex

NY NOW, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift, is excited to share an announcement for the winter 2019 market which will be held February 3-6, 2019 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Included in the major additions, features and changes planned for the NY NOW winter market is the co-location of the National Stationery Show (NSS) and SURTEX.

Long held at the Javits Center in New York in the May timeframe, the NSS and SURTEX events will now join with the nation’s premier retail marketplace and provide NY NOW buyers with hundreds of new resources for unique, innovative, and distinctive stationery products and greeting cards as well as art licensing opportunities for designers, manufacturers and retailers. The newly co-located NSS will additionally present a new Emerging Designers feature where more than 100 new artists and designers will display never-before-seen designs and art for retail buyers to discover.

The thousands of retail buyers unique to the NSS and SURTEX events will now be exposed to the more than 2,300 exhibiting brands that make up the NY NOW winter market.

The co-location of the NSS creates a compelling new attraction to NY NOW buyers looking for unique and distinctive social stationery products, while adding thousands of new retail buyers to explore NY NOW’s winter exhibitors. In addition, SURTEX provides a global B2B marketplace for sourcing original art and design — where artists, art agents, licensing agencies and licensors can connect with manufacturers, retailers and licensees to create the next best-selling products in every category imaginable.
