Plano, TX – With hundreds of businesses in Plano, it can be an overwhelming endeavor to complete a shopping list. Thankfully, the recent arrival of Marketplace Boutiques has eased the experience for many shoppers, becoming a one-stop-shop for women’s and children’s fashions, décor, accessories and gifts.

The store was founded in Frisco Square in 2009, and owner Julie Smith closed shop in February 2013 before reopening in Plano in March, a move that has allowed her to double the number of boutiques in her store.

“Plano is definitely a more established city,” Smith said. “The population is more dense, and they’ve lived here longer. I wanted to stay as close to our previous location as possible. I liked this location because it’s literally across the border from Frisco, so it’s not a far drive for our loyal, longtime customers.”
