OneCoast Reports Record Breaking January Sales

OneCoast, the leader in nationwide sales and marketing for gift, baby, fashion, and collegiate vendors and retailers, reported record breaking January sales for its National Division One (ND One) show, road and e-commerce sales.

“The healthy increases in sales and traffic, positive retailer feedback appears to be a trend this January market across the industry,” says John Keiser, OneCoast CEO. “I am very pleased with the January performance of the ND ONE Division.”

“Multiple factors contributed to our growth this month,” says Nora Chapman, Vice President of Sales. “Significant category introductions and line expansions by existing vendors Mud Pie, C.R. Gibson, Lindsay Phillips and Legacy and the addition of our two new lines Natural Life and Patience Brewster were very well received by our retailers.”

OneCoast enjoyed record breaking show sales at all three of its major markets – Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas. Overall, OneCoast saw an increase in show sales in excess of 35% over last year. The company reported an increase in customer traffic over last year with a significant increase in the number of Northeast retailers shopping the Atlanta market.

The company’s Atlanta showroom was awarded the “Best Visual Display Award” on the 18th floor for their exceptional visual merchandising of vendor spaces that were unique and representative of the vendor brands.

Road sales were also up in excess of 30% over last year. “We see this as direct result of our move to reduce the number of vendors we represent, and increase the number of sales territories which ultimately provides a more focused representation for our vendors,” says Chapman.

OneCoast also saw a strong growth in January’s e-commerce sales with a 45% sales increase over last year. Majda Rensberger, Director of Marketing says “the eShow continues to be a key driver in sales for January. Retailers love that they can shop or preview our new intros before attending a market, or for some buyers, in place of attending a market.” The week long eShow contributed over 35% of the month’s e-commerce sales and site traffic was up significantly.

“Traditionally January represents 16-18% of ND ONE’s annual business. If that holds true to form in 2012, ND ONE will be right on plan for its best sales year in its six year history,” says CEO, John Keiser.
