The new Primula® Push+Serve 3-Qt. Whistling Kettle creates a focal point at retail with its dazzling array of fashionable color choices in a new matte finish, from classic black and stainless steel to lush hues of marigold and red. Beyond its beauty, the Push+Serve Kettle is designed for maximum performance in heating water for tea, soup and more.
The trigger spout was designed for safety, convenience and ease of use. Integrated into a high arched handle that gives this model a dramatic silhouette, it accommodates easy one-handed operation while keeping the hand away from hot water or steam. Just press the button to open the spout for comfortable and controlled pouring, without drips.
The ergonomically firm grip handle is comfortable to hold, and the design is balanced to minimize the stress of lifting the kettle when full.
The kettle features a wide base that efficiently captures heat from the stovetop and disperses it throughout the kettle quickly and efficiently. The oversized base fully covers flames from a gas stove for greater safety, and is also fully functional on electric or ceramic cooktops.
The kettle features a traditional whistle to sound an alert when water has reached a boil. No need to grab an oven mitt, the Push+Serve Kettle’s cast steel handle is covered with an overmold that is cool to the touch. The wide-mouthed lid, which also features a stay-cool handle, maintains a perfect seal to stay in place when pouring and is easily removed for filling and cleaning.
Available in stainless steel and matte black, marigold and red, the Primula® Push+Serve 3-Qt. Whistling Kettle will be available for shipment April 2013, with a suggested retail price $49.99.
