Milton, DE – After a combined 22 years as bartenders at Irish Eyes in Lewes, Patrick and Amy Conroy decided to set out to start their own business.

After seven years practicing as an esthetician, Hillary Reid wanted to expand her services from a space inside a boutique in downtown Milford to her own first storefront shop.

Reid and the Conroys are able to make their business dreams a reality in downtown Milton thanks to Project Pop-Up, a Delaware Economic Development Office program which connects burgeoning entrepreneurs with commercial property owners who are seeking tenants. As part of the program, the successful applicants receive three months of rent-free commercial space as well as coaching from a business adviser.
