Newburg, OR – The chance to see a book called “Pony Tales” was worth stopping in Pulp & Circumstance, a new gift shop in Newberg.

The book is all pink and purple, with fuzzy-looking pony tails sticking out from the sides of the pages. It must be a hot seller among the under-5, young lady book buyer category.

But even if that doesn’t fit your age category or interest, the store owners think they have a gift for everyone. For me, Ashley Lippard suggested some brew bar beer soap (made from real beer, though not the expensive Oregon microbrew stuff, she said), or a bar of barbecue potato chip-flavored chocolate, both in the men’s section.
