Quilt Store Next Door Opens in Pataskala
Pataskala, OH – Quilting started as a hobby for Shelley Kirkland, but it quickly turned into a passion.
Kirkland, 40, turned that passion into a business, recently opening Quilt Store Next Door at 21 W. Depot St. in downtown Pataskala.
The store is tucked into a single-story building behind Scarred Hands Creations, another new craft-oriented business that recently opened on Broad Street. Quilt Store Next Door is filled with some of Kirkland’s colorful quilts and hand-crafted creations, in addition to fabric collections and a variety of other items, including locally made jellies, spreads, flavored popcorn, pretzels, candles and gift cards.
