The Woodlands, TX – Years ago, Veronica Kearney was constantly tempted by Baby Ruth candy bars at the grocery store checkout.

But she hasn’t eaten one since 2005 — the year she opened Schakolad Chocolate Factory on Research Forest in The Woodlands.

“Now I walk right by them,” she said. “Before I opened the shop, I didn’t know what good chocolate was.”
