The longtime Butte confectionery that’s as old school as your grandmother’s hand-scrawled recipes recently fixed its old five-gallon popcorn popper. Now the popular caramel corn lines the shelves next to the proven standbys — chocolate-covered and pan candy.

It’s a big change for a tiny family shop that harkens back to old-fashioned service and personal attention to hand-crafted delectables, which run $17.50 per pound.
