Six entrepreneurs Share The One Thing They Wish They’d Known Before Launching Their Business
Anyone considering starting a business has heard the advice: “Find your passion.”
Allison Faunce of Somerset found hers more than five years ago when her young son was running around the house with a dishtowel over his shoulders.
“I asked him, ‘What are you doing’?” she said. “He was being a super hero.”
Faunce devised a way to both get her dishtowel back in its proper place, and make her son a cape that would stay on his shoulders. She started sewing capes for her family and then selling them on Etsy, and that led to the launch of her home-based business, Little Hero Capes.
