SnapRetail Announces the Promotion of Tara Dikos as Vice President of Sales

SnapRetail, a technology marketing company that helps independent retailers nationwide grow their sales and profits by using social and other digital marketing, has announced that Tara Dikos has been promoted to their Vice President of Sales position.

“We are delighted that Tara Dikos has accepted this promotion to Vice-President of Sales for SnapRetail,” said Ted Teele, CEO of SnapRetail. “Tara’s promotion is in line with our strategy for growth, including ambitious plans to add thousands of retailers to our customer base and grow our vendor base by 50% over the next year. Since she joined the company early last year, Tara has done a terrific job with our show management and sales partner relationships and we are confident that she will excel in her new responsibilities.”

Since joining the company last year, Tara implemented a lead referral program that enabled many of its Sales Partners and Territory Managers to widely promote SnapRetail’s TrafficBuilder to their retailers. She has enabled sales representatives to use SnapRetail’s software to advance their own business, resulting in rapid adoption in the industry, as well as industry accolades. And, she has led SnapRetail’s strong showroom presence at physical markets which have contributed double what was expected in terms of new subscribers.

In her new role at SnapRetail, Dikos will work closely with Teele and with SnapRetail’s Vice-President of Business Development Tyler Johnston, and will be responsible for supporting the company’s growth of retailer customers through SnapRetail’s extensive network of sales and vendor partners.  Tara will also be responsible for vendor relationships, including managing the company’s vendor sponsorship program and vendor content acquisition.  Finally, she will be a member of the company’s executive management team, and in that capacity, help to determine SnapRetail’s strategy, priorities, and tactics.

Prior to joining SnapRetail, Tara co-created The POWER Group (Proud Outstanding Women Energizing Retail), a sales agency in the wholesale gift and home Industry covering the Mid-Atlantic region (VA, MD, DE, PA).  Tara’s energy, passion and determination helped lead The POWER Group to become one of the leading sales agencies in the region.

Immediately prior to joining SnapRetail, Tara successfully served as a consultant for various Colorado Start-up Companies.  Her projects typically included developing strategies and procedures to drive growth, including building dynamic sales tTeams and customer service departments.   Tara serves as a Board Member of the Women’s Global Empowerment Fund, which strives to reach poor and underserved women in northern Uganda through microfinance loans and education programs. She is an alumna of North Carolina State University.
