Milford, MA – As the number of shopping days before Christmas has quickly dwindled to three, many MetroWest and Milford small business owners are gearing up for the final rush of shoppers after a successful holiday season.

There were challenges: Two serious snowstorms last week and a few minor ones this month kept some holiday shoppers home; and it was a condensed holiday shopping season because Thanksgiving was later this year. Even so, many MetroWest and Milford small businesses have been packed with shoppers ready to fill the spaces under their Christmas trees the past few weeks.

“We’re doing great,” said Kimberly Reed, owner of The Purple Rose in Northborough. “We’re having a really good year.”
