St. Augustine, FL – If it were just a matter of selling the same stuff people can get all over the area, Jennifer Ellen-Ellis would never have bothered to open a toy store.

That’s why her Olde Towne Toys store at 113 King St. doesn’t have the same inventory — or the same feel — found at the big department stores.

The shop near the post office has a corner with train set that children can push around the wooden track. Or they can play in the kitchen or doll house. The shelves are filled mostly with toys you might have to order, like the PlasmaCar, but instead you can try it out before buying it.
