Chester — When Stacy Padilla was four years old, she would sell pages from her coloring book to people walking past her house.

“Most kids sell lemonade; I sold pictures,” Padilla said. “My mother was always amazed that people bought my pictures. I know I wasn’t a child prodigy. I think they bought them because I was cute.”

Buel also creates dollhouses, fantasy-themed wall hangings, and what she describes as “cute whimsical signs.” When asked what is her best work, her response is “everything.”
