Statham GPAC Gallery Shop Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Auburn, GA – A ribbon cutting recently was held at The Georgia Piedmont Arts Center’s gallery gift shop in downtown Statham.
Although the shop has been open about a month, the ribbon cutting ceremony was held as an official grand opening May 4.
The gift shop, located at 1906 Railroad Street, is housed inside Second Hand Rose Antique and Market Place.
The Georgia Piedmont Arts Center, or GPAC, is in Auburn at an old Victorian cottage. With just three rooms, GPAC President Kathleen Gill said the group could not give up a classroom in the cottage to dedicate it to a gift shop.
