Style Shines In Atlanta
The April Atlanta Apparel Market brings style and substance with an array of lines, product launches, educational events and runway excitement. From a Keynote Event presented by television fashion star Jeannie Mai to the return of an upscale fashion show juried and produced by Goodrowe Hobby, Atlanta is the place for Fall 2012 fashion from April 12-16, 2012.
Buyers know Atlanta as the place to write orders and to see lines that will work for a range of customers. To showcase the best of the new looks, Atlanta Apparel Market features daily fashion shows and the headlining event, the Friday night Style Runway Fashion Show. These runway shows – staged in the atrium – spotlight the leading trends found in both temporary exhibits and permanent showrooms during Market.
Esley Collection’s feminine looks with a classic edge offer a lifestyle collection at an affordable price point during the Daily Strut Fashion Show on Friday, April 13 at noon. Then Beija-Flor Jeans takes center stage at the 3 p.m. Friday show with its “Denim Love” campaign of stylish, premium jeans designed for perfect fit. On Saturday, April 14 at 5 p.m., Almeriane is featured in a new line inspired by the designer’s internationally acclaimed fine art.
The centerpiece Style Runway Fashion Show on Friday at 6:30 p.m., juried and styled by internationally famous designers David Goodrowe and Tim Hobby, will be a showpiece of avant-garde glamour and beauty. The pair, whose work has appeared in Women’s Wear Daily, InStyle and Harper’s BAZAAR will personally select the fashions, the models, their looks, the music and the lighting to create a visually sensual fashion trend experience using selected elements from a wide range of Atlanta Apparel Market Temporaries and permanent showrooms.
Atlanta Apparel presents permanent showrooms and temporary collections in every category including men’s and women’s PREMIERE (contemporary), NOW!(young contemporary), READY (ready-to-wear), special occasion, SHOE STUDIO (shoes), J.F.A. (jewelry and fashion accessories) and IMPULSE (cash and carry) as well as Children’s World featuring children’s apparel, accessories and gift product.
