Summer 2023 Las Vegas Market offers expanded exploration, experiences

Gift and home furnishings resource growth, plus educational programming and events, aim to make the Summer 2023 Las Vegas Market a top West Coast buying event this season.

Registration is open now for the July 30–Aug. 3 buying event at World Market Center Las Vegas.

“Resource growth across gift and furnishings make an already exciting Las Vegas Market even more compelling for top buyers and sellers,” said Bob Maricich, CEO of International Market Centers (IMC). “With expanded exploration, exciting programming and events staged in a world-class destination, Las Vegas Market is a must-attend event for connection, inspiration and entertainment this summer.”

Lines to discover

Las Vegas Market will feature 3,500 gift, décor and furnishings lines that showcase new product in hundreds of permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits across four buildings on the World Market Center Las Vegas campus.

The permanent showroom collection in Buildings A, B and C adds new resources in branded presentations and sales agencies. In home décor and furnishings, new brands such as Najarian and Acme lead updates to a comprehensive collection offered on 30 floors in Buildings A, B and C. In gift, significant expansions by west coast sales agencies including Fine Lines, Road Runners, Sales Producers and Stephen Young bring more total lifestyle product to some seven floors in Building C.

Augmenting the showroom souring are two temporary exhibit destinations. The Gift & Home Temporaries fill the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas with hundreds of brands in six categories: Design, Gift, Immediate Delivery (Cash & Carry) Handmade, Home and Luxe. More than 30 furnishings temporaries on B2 add to the furnishings resources.

Programming

Las Vegas Market entertains and educates with a series of in-person seminars, award celebrations, events, interactive experiences and more in summer 2023. Trends take center stage through IMC’s proprietary FIRST LOOK seminar, tour and display, as well as the Ahead of the Curve panel of forward-thinking designers and a discussion of color with Sherwin-Williams. A robust business education schedule includes topics on marketing, merchandising, innovative retailing and more. Las Vegas Market celebrates the industry’s boldest and brightest at ASID’s ANDYZ Awards ceremony. The Market Pros program will also return with a new class of tastemakers sharing favorite finds and market moments on social media.

IMC encourages buyers to start their market planning now. The Las Vegas Market website offers show details, an exhibitor directory and travel information.

Lasvegasmarket.com/attend/hotels features information about special rates and added-value benefits with dozens of partner hotels. Las Vegas Market’s social media channels offer a breadth of information highlighted by the Market Snapshot program which will showcase the best market introductions leading up to opening day.

Later this summer, an all-new edition of the preview guide will prime buyers for their visit to market with product information and articles about trends, business advice and more. At market, buyers can use the Las Vegas Buyers’ Guide for the full list of events and exhibitor locations and EXPLORE – The Gift & Home Temporaries Magazine, a guide to the temporary exhibits in the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, to optimize the visit.
