SWTA launches industry job board, ‘Beyond The Stockroom’ podcast

The Specialty Wholesale Talent Association (SWTA), a newly formed non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the workforce of the specialty wholesale industry, announced the launch of its centralized SWTA Job Board alongside its companion podcast, “Beyond The Stockroom.”

The SWTA Job Board was created in response to a growing need for a single, accessible destination where job seekers can explore current opportunities across the specialty wholesale industry. By consolidating listings in one place, the platform simplifies the hiring process for employers and improves visibility for open roles.

Working in tandem with the job board, the Beyond The Stockroom podcast is designed to educate and inspire those outside the industry. Through storytelling, interviews and behind-the-scenes insights, the podcast introduces listeners to the diverse career paths available — encouraging new talent to explore opportunities they may not have previously considered.

“We know starting a job board just for this industry is nothing new, and they are fantastic at helping those already in the industry find new roles, but it is a marketing aspect to those outside the industry that we all need!” said Delaney Womack, co-founder of SWTA and vice president of NEST.

Dillon Womack, co-founder of SWTA and vice president of product at MarketTime, added, “Thus is why we are launching both the podcast in conjunction with the job board!”

SWTA also offers membership opportunities for employers within the industry. For an annual fee of $250, members receive:

  • Unlimited job postings on the SWTA Job Board
  • Invitations to exclusive networking meet-ups during major market events
  • Access to additional hiring tools, including internship description templates and other employment resources

As a non-profit association, all membership dues are reinvested into expanding awareness and accessibility of careers within the industry. Funds directly support marketing efforts for both the podcast and job board, as well as ongoing platform maintenance and development.

Through these initiatives, SWTA aims to bridge the gap between industry employers and untapped talent pools — ensuring long-term growth and sustainability for the specialty wholesale community.
