Temps at Dallas Total Home & Gift Market to be largest January show in decade-plus

The Temps at Total Home & Gift Market, which takes place Jan. 4-7, 2023, will present more exhibitors than in 10 years, according to the Dallas Market Center. The show will debut hundreds of new exhibitors inside an expanded marketplace.

“The January Dallas Temps are bigger, better and reimagined, but most important, we are delivering quality companies to the marketplace,” said Jo Ann Miller Marshall, senior vice president of leasing at the Dallas Market Center. “We will have hundreds of top brands and artisans, plus exciting promotions and events supporting the show experience. We are thrilled to present great companies across every neighborhood of the Temps.”

The Temps at Total Home & Gift Market takes place in five different destinations, spanning more than 700,000 square feet.

Two collections debuting this January are High Style Dallas and Antiques, taking place together on the 10th floor of the World Trade Center. High Style Dallas will feature more than 100 booths showing a curated collection of gifts and décor. The collection will be a juried array of lifestyle products including Laura Park Designs, Windy O’Connor, WirrWarr Wraps, Haute Home and others.

Antiques will feature furniture and accents, decorative objects, rugs, estate jewelry and original artwork from the ancient world to mid-century modern. Among the top antiques dealers participating are E. Alexander, ABN Rug Gallery and Jill Barrett Interiors.

The 12th floor of the World Trade Center is the destination for the largest collection of new companies and trending products. The MADE collection includes handmade, American-made and made-in-Texas gifts from companies such as Second Nature By Hand, The Nola Watkins Collection and Jenny Walker.

The show’s Home collection on the 12th floor will include Lovinflame, Capitol Earth Rugs and Stony Creek At Home. Inside the expanded Body & Spa collection will be California Mango, Creek House Honey Farm and Aluminate Life, among others.

The Gift/In Demand collection will include a special collection of paper resources from Noted, as well as Indie & Main and Druville, while Emerging Gift will include The Urban Acres, Charley Jean Candle Co. and Bradley Kellie. In the t-shirts section, EMI Sportswear is joined by Frankie Jean and New York Artkings. The gourmet/housewares collection will include Perfectly Cordial, Thousand Oaks Barrel Co. and Jensen Farms.

Additional collections on the 12th floor include Global/Fair Trade and HIM, the collection featuring men’s gifts, gadgets, fragrance and fashion items.

Meanwhile, on the 13th floor, the Fashion Accessories & Apparel collection will return with dozens of new brands, including Treasure Jewels, The Kenzie Collective and Yujuu.

Luxe Gift will once again fill the atrium of the Trade Mart with artwork, decorative soft-goods, tabletop, gifts, accessories, children’s items and paper products. Exhibitors San Lorenzo Designs, Deb & Bill and Fenwick Fields will be joined by dozens of other companies.

In Market Hall, the Immediate Goods collections will deliver “buy it now, take it now” resources for retailers and designers seeking a solution to supply chain challenges. Home décor, vintage, artisan items, fine jewelry, gifts and fashion jewelry will fill Main Hall and North Hall. Exhibitors will include Dilworth Road, Alex Carol and Kiara Purse; Ronda Smith Designs, Green Bee Towels and A Rare Bird; Whitewashed Home, Sono Inspired and Cima Wholesale.

According to the Dallas Market Center, the upcoming show will attract buyers from all 50 states and dozens of countries.

In June, the show experienced a strong increase in buyers attending for the first time. Attendance from buyers located in the Southeast increased 29%, the Midwest increased 7% and the West increased 7%. Attendance by retailers from Canada and Mexico increased sharply, the organization says. Additionally, the show welcomed an increased number of multi-location retail, buying groups and major stores.
