The Gerson Companies acquires Park Hill Collection

The Gerson Companies, a seasonal and everyday home décor design and distribution company, acquired the assets of Park Hill Collection, a product design and import company of home décor, furnishings, candles and seasonal products based in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Park Hill will continue to be headquartered and operate in Little Rock.

With the acquisition of the Park Hill Collection, the company says it increases its presence in the design-inspired home décor space by adding one of the industry’s most recognized and celebrated home furnishing brands to its growing family of companies.

With the support of our capital base and operational expertise, we see a tremendous opportunity to evolve and grow the Park Hill brand and its appeal in the up-market home design space.”

Park Hill, which will continue to operate under the same name, is now wholly owned by Gerson but will maintain its existing office and distribution center in Little Rock, Arkansas, and operate as an independent division of Gerson.

Gerson and Hjalmarson, fourth-generation Gerson Company family members, will serve as interim general managers of Park Hill in the initial post-closing of the acquisition while Gerson conducts a national search to recruit and onboard a full-time general manager of Park Hill.

The Gerson Companies is an importer of seasonal, gift and home décor products sold to retail. With well-known industry brands including Gerson International, Everlasting Glow Flameless Candles, GG Home Collection (Gracious Goods), Lone Elm Studios, Garden Meadow and Sterling Tree Company, the 82-year-old family-owned company is currently in its fourth generation of leadership.
