The Starving Artist Offers Handmade Pieces by More Than 50 Artists
St. Augustine, FL – Brought together by their love for the arts, Joyce Hayes and Hester Longstreet opened The Starving Artist in late 2012 to give local up-and-coming creative minds an opportunity to both showcase and sell their work.
Now almost two months into the art consignment business, the shop sells an array of crafts from 50 talented area artists.
From stained glass pieces that hang from the building’s 19th century ceiling to lamps handcrafted by blacksmiths, an evolving mix of art flows in and out of the location, located at 28 Cuna St. in the historic district of St. Augustine.
