Licking, MO – On Aug. 1, 1979, Joan Brannam launched TJ’s Plaster Crafts out on Highway 32, in the front part of the building where Rustic Haven Flea Market is now located.

Eighteen years later, the business, now TJ’s Flowers & Gifts, moved into a fine brick building on the west side of Main Street.

This Friday, TJ’s will be 35 years old, making it one of the longest-running continuous sole-proprietorships in the city of Licking.
