ToyFest West is coming back for fun and games this March

Western Toy and Hobby Representatives Association’s (WTHRA) Board of Directors and ToyFest West’s Slate of Officers have spent the summer planning the 3-day 2019 ToyFest West convention that will be held at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, where buyers can work, stay eat and play all under one roof.

Plans for ToyFest West 2019 were kicked off at the Board and Slate’s combined meeting this past summer. The team was extremely happy with the attendance at the 2018 show. There were many things that worked well for ToyFest West 2018 and will continue such as the ToyFest Raffle, the Hotel Room Night Promotion, Educational Seminars, Game Night and of course the Gala where brilliant toy industry individuals are inducted into the Western Toy & Hobby Representatives Hall of Fame.

• The ToyFest Raffle will be bigger and better with cash giveaways and toy or game related prizes to several lucky ticket holders. Each ticket is earned for every order that is placed. The raffle takes place at the close of show all three days, March 10-12, 2019.
• The tremendous buy two nights, get one free hotel promotion for the first 300 rooms booked will also continue but new this year, the room must be booked before January 31, 2019.
• ToyFest West plans to hold two seminars this year which will take place prior to show opening on Sunday and Monday, March 10-11. Speakers will be announced in the coming months.
• New this year will be a Share the Fair event for Buyers only on Tuesday morning, March 12. Those that participate will come prepared to share with other buyers what their favorite products are on the show floor. A list will be compiled, broken down by category and emailed out.
• The engaging ToyFest Game Night will continue but will be limited to 15 manufactures and exclusively to the first 150 ToyFest West buyers registered for Game Night.
• The Gala welcomes all attendees, representatives and exhibitors attending ToyFest West. It features a hosted dinner, cocktails, a photo booth and an awards ceremony.
• ToyFest West will also encourage its exhibitors to offer great first quarter show specials for its retailers to take advantage of.

More details about the show will be made available as plans are finalized such as the 2019 Hall of Fame Inductees, Seminar Speakers and Game Night Manufacturers. At this time, the Directors and Officers would like you to mark your calendars, get your rooms booked and be ready for an exciting and productive 2019 ToyFest West.
