Twice the Fun! Cookbook Publisher Gooseberry Patch Expands its Partnership with Central Ohio Morning Show

Vickie Hutchins and Jo Ann Martin, co-founders of independent cookbook publishing company Gooseberry Patch, are ready to share more recipes, demonstrations, food and fun with Central Ohio viewing audience

(Columbus, Ohio) — August 31, 2011 – On the heels of a successful year in which they shared dozens of recipes and tips with Central Ohio viewers, Vickie Hutchins and Jo Ann Martin — aka “The Gooseberry Patch Ladies” — have big plans to fill their newly expanded time slot on Good Day Columbus with even more food and fun.

Hutchins and Martin are co-founders of Gooseberry Patch, a bestselling independent publisher of community-style cookbooks based in Columbus, Ohio. The ladies made their debut on Good Day Columbus in September 2010 demonstrating tailgating snacks.

“We’re very excited that not only have we been invited to continue our partnership with Good Day Columbus, but we’ll now be featured in two segments,” says Jo Ann.

“And, for viewers, this means that we can share even more goodies…making it twice the fun!” adds Vickie.

About the Publisher

Back in 1984, Vickie Hutchins and Jo Ann Martin were next-door neighbors raising their families in Delaware, Ohio. They were two moms with small children looking for a way to do what they loved and stay home with the kids too. They shared a love of home cooking and making memories with family & friends. After many a conversation over the backyard fence, Gooseberry Patch was born.

Today, Gooseberry Patch is best known for its homestyle family-friendly cookbooks and line of art calendars. With more than 200 titles and nearly 9 million copies in print, plus a new collection of eBooks, Gooseberry Patch has grown from a kitchen-table operation to a nationally recognized best-selling publisher. Affordably priced from 99 cents to $16.95, the books are themed with today’s time-strapped, budget-conscious families in mind. Many recipes include personal stories from contributors, giving the cookbooks a warm community feel that has proven extremely popular among cookbook fans and collectors.
