Floto’s Gift Shop, 123 Washington Ave., with its distinctive green porcelain panels, has done well with the tourist and local trade for years.

“We had a good year in 2006 and expect the same in 2007,” said Manager Mary Bolt Ellingboe.

While winter business is normally slow, it is slightly up from last winter, Bolt Ellingboe said.

Western Michigan customers return regularly and especially like the store’s nautical items, including displayed Coast Guard vessels.
