Wild Creations Wins Three Creative Child Awards

Myrtle Beach, SC – Whether you’re looking for whacky, educational or unbelievable toys, Wild Creations has become the go-to place for great finds. The company’s products recently impressed the judges at the annual Creative Child Toy Test, who recognized three different products for their ability to spark an interest in learning and science in children.

To win honors at Creative Child’s annual Toy Awards, products are thoroughly reviewed by both moms and educators. Several people who fit the same profile as the targeted audience reviewed each of the products. Only one product per category can win a Toy/Product of the Year award. The Seal of Excellence is another prominent award that is given to those products that are not finalists but do exceed expectations based on the criteria for nurturing creativity and education in children.

Wild Creations won three total 2010 Creative Child Awards:

2010 TOY OF THE YEAR AWARD (R/C Toys for Kids category)

RC Rattlesnake • $39.99 • Ages 7 and up
Looking for a creepy crawling rattlesnake that truly moves like the real thing? Seen at London’s Natural History Museum, this Eastern Diamondback (Crotalus adamanteus) is the biggest and most dangerous rattlesnake found in the U.S. and now, in a home near you! Better yet, this realistic guy flicks its tongue in and out as it slithers along the carpet or under the kitchen table.

2010 PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AWARD (Science Products for Kids category)

Pocket Microscope • $13.99 • Ages 5 and up
Whiz kids never know when they need to get a closer look at something that catches their attention. Now they can view objects in incredible detail with a brightness and clarity that amazes scientists! From the Natural History Museum, this pocket-size microscope can magnify items a stunning 40 times and comes with slides and a lens cleaning cloth, plus a very affordable price tag.

2010 SEAL OF EXCELLENCE AWARD (Novelty Toys category)

Hologram Chamber • $8.99 • Ages 5 and up
Like something from a Harry Potter chapter, place any object in this chamber and see it appear to hover. From the UK Science Museum, this chamber creates an optical illusion; tricking you into thinking a reflection is the real object! Try any object and witness 3-D images appear to float.

All award-winning products are featured in Creative Child’s big holiday issue, which is distributed nationwide in early November.
