WILLIAMSBURG and Royal Heritage Home Debut Two New Bedding Collections

WILLIAMSBURG and licensee Royal Heritage Home will expand their collaborative top-of-the-bed program with the debut of two fresh collections next week at theNew York Home Fashions Market, March 18-21. The vibrant colors and timeless international design influences in both new collections showcase the WILLIAMSBURG brand’s commitment to developing distinctive products for the home that fuse current design trends with enduring style traditions.

The rich plum and sand colors of Grand Palampore are a contemporary take on an Indian chintz bedcover in the archives of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. The antique textile, which captures the exotic attraction and design influence of the spice routes during the 17th and 18th century, provided stylistic inspiration for the new bedding.

Collinson pairs trend-forward pink and green with a warm, earth brown for a current take on English garden traditions. This bedding reflects the charm of the outdoors when laurel, apple blossoms and lilies of the valley are in full bloom. The floral pattern pops against the dark solid ground colorway.

“Both patterns bring trend and tradition together in a way that we know will be interesting for consumers, and the rich colors make both designs well-suited for use in today’s homes,” said Kris Fischer, WILLIAMSBURG’s director of product management. “We are thrilled with Royal Heritage Home’s interpretations and with how the new bedding looks.”
