Dartmouth, MA – Chances are you haven’t encountered a store named Refried Tees.
Founder and chief upcycling officer Lisa Litos said she thought it would be a quirky label for what she has been doing a lot lately — cutting up and putting together vintage T-shirts to create skirts, scarves and hair accessories. Last week’s specialty? Red Sox skirts.
“So far it’s been great,” said Litos, who has started supplying The Black Whale Gift Shop in New Bedford with Refried Tees.
